![]() If you have guys winning 12 fights in your company and not getting ranked that's pretty wild I'm not sure what the fix would be other than to pick one of those unranked fighters that you think has the highest potential and throw him to the wolves against a top 10 fighter and see what happens.įighters with more marketability gain popularity and notoriety faster that includes having the public perceive them as a big deal. I keep each weight class around 30-35 fighters so if you have a really bloated division that could be what's making it hard for someone to break into the top 25 too. I usually have success with getting guys ranked after beating someone ranked around #20 regardless of their record or how hot they've been prior to the fight. ![]() If you're mostly concerned about getting unranked guys to be ranked, are their winning streaks against ranked opponents from your company or do you book the unranked fighters vs other unranked fighters? If their win streaks are counting wins from local shows and low tier fighters I don't think it holds as much weight as beating someone who's ranked within your company.
